Q: How much experience do you have?

A: Since 1986, DJ Joey Tee has performed at hundreds of weddings & events and has appeared at dozens of night clubs throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. In addition to owning a number of popular wedding and entertainment related web directories, he holds a certificate in Broadcasting & Business Entertainment from NYU.

Q: What kind of equipment do you use?

A: DJ Joey Tee uses the newest and most advanced ALL-DIGITAL technology available. His primary system consists of an Apple iBook computer system, 1 Shure Dual Diversity Microphone, 2 self-powered JBL EON series speakers at 400 watts per channel. For larger parties, weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs, he also uses a Numark 8 Channel DJ Mixer, 2 Portable CD/MP3 Players and an additional microphone... packed neatly in an SKB rolling case. DJ Joey Tee made the ALL-DIGITAL transition in 2002 using a Mac... the most trusted and most reliable when it comes to music & multimedia.

Q: Do you have a back-up system?

A: Yes... DJ Joey Tee always has back-up equipment on site. In the extremely rare event of any component breaking down, he has access to an additional mixer, speaker system, microphone, 2 CD players and over 3000 song titles.

Q: What do you wear?

A: Unless otherwise specified, DJ Joey Tee always comes dressed in Suit & Tie.

Q: What does your music library consist of?

A: DJ Joey Tee's extensive library includes music from the swing era right through to today's top hits. His standard collection consists of over 20,000 songs in 32 different categories. He also has access to over 1,000,000 titles that can be downloaded via the internet with advanced notice.

Q: Do you take requests?

A: Not only does DJ Joey Tee take requests, he will customize your event to your specific needs and desires. Whether you would like to hear 1 or 100 specific songs OR need him to make any special announcements or dedications, DJ Joey Tee is always open to and encourages your requests. DJ Joey Tee will also gladly accept your 'DO NOT PLAY' list.

Q: Can you do ethnic parties?

A: Yes... DJ Joey Tee has performed at many ethnic weddings and events including Latin, Jewish, Russian, Italian, Irish, Asian, Polish, Arabic, Greek, French, German and more. He has a large ethnic library and will also accept CD's from you if you need a specific artist and/or music type.

Q: Will you be the actual DJ?

A: Yes... If you book DJ Joey Tee, he will be the DJ at your event.

Q: Do you talk on the microphone?

A: Yes... DJ Joey Tee will MC your event. Depending on your needs and type of event, DJ Joey Tee's "style" can range from conservative to moderate. He will make any special announcements and/or introductions necessary, coordinate participation dances and help with any traditional ceremonies.

Q: Can we use your microphone?

A: Yes... you will be able to use a microphone for toasts, presentations, special announcements, etc.

Q: Can I control the volume?

A: DJ Joey Tee usually adjusts the volume according to the size of the room, type of event, number of guests, age range and/or type of set (dinner music, cocktail music, dance set, etc.). He will be more than happy to adjust the volume if you needed it louder or softer.

Q: Do you offer any additional options?

A: Yes... DJ Joey Tee also offers lighting packages, party giveaways, karaoke, party motivators/dancers, additional sound equipment and more. His network also offers a wide variety of other local and nationwide services.

Q: What does a PARTY MOTIVATOR do?

A: Depending on your needs and type of event, a party motivator will act as your MC, interact with guests, coordinate participation dances, dazzle your guests with extraordinary dance moves, play games with younger guests and/or help with any traditional ceremonies.

Q: What kind of power do you need?

A: DJ Joey Tee needs one standard 110V outlet. An additional 110V outlet on a separate circuit is required if you have a light show. Larger events with additional sound equipment and/or lighting equipment may need additional power and will be discussed in detail prior to the event.

Q: Can we see you in action?

A: As a courtesy to his clients, DJ Joey Tee does not allow visitors at any type of private event he is performing at. However, you may ask if he has any upcoming bar/club gigs or public performances scheduled.

Q: How much do you charge?

A: DJ Joey Tee currently offers 3 DELUXE packages... Wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Other Events... at special discounted rates! He also offers a variety of PREMIUM packages for other special events. By booking him direct, you will save money by eliminating high agent commissions.

Q: Is there a travel fee?

A: There is never a travel fee for New Jersey events. Travel rates may apply outside of NJ.
